Police in Brighton are looking for a 31-year-old local man so that they can return him to prison.
The are hunting for Dean Kiely after the probation service said that he had breached the conditions of his prison release licence.
Kiely was described as white, 5ft 11in tall and of proportionate build. He has a scar from his nose to his right cheek and a 1in horizontal scar on his forehead.
He had been serving a prison sentence for driving while disqualified and handling stolen goods. He was jailed by a judge at Croydon Crown Court last September.
Sussex Police said: “Kiely comes from Brighton but also has links to Sutton in South London and we think he may currently be in that area.”
Anyone who sees him is asked to dial 999. Anyone with other information about his recent movements is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101, email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
