An 18-year-old girl was raped last night (Sunday 13 April) outside a central Brighton supermarket.
The teenager was waiting for a friend by the car park next to Sainsbury’s in New England Street.

The two then pulled her into the car park and one of them raped her.
The incident happened yesterday evening at around 9.20pm.
Sussex Police would like to talk to anyone who was in the area of Sainsbury’s in New England Street at that time.
Detective sergeant Stephen French said: “We are at the very early stages of this investigation and are providing the woman with the support she needs.
“She describes these men as white, between 18 and 20 and average build.
“There a large number of flats which overlook the area and as it was a warm day on Sunday and people may have still been out on their balconies.
“The cashpoint at Sainsbury’s is also well used and people visiting that may well have seen something which could help us with our investigation.”
Anyone who might have seen something or have any information is asked to contact police on 101 or 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1451 of 13/4.
