At least six remembrance services are due to be held across Brighton and Hove tomorrow (Sunday 10 November).
The first civic service of the day is the Royal Sussex Regimental Association Remembrance Sunday Service at 9am.
It takes place at the Royal Sussex Regiment Memorial, in Regency Square, Brighton, with those attending aked to gather by 8.55am
At 11am the main Brighton Parade and Service is due to be held at the Old Steine War Memorial.
The parade sets off from Madeira Drive and the service and wreath laying at the War Memorial is scheduled to start at 11am.
The annual service at the Easthill Park Memorial in Portslade also starts at 11am.
The parade is due to set off from Portslade Town Hall, in Victoria Road, at 10.20 am to make it to Easthill Park for the ceremony and laying of wreaths.
And a short ceremony is due to take place in Hove Cemetery in Old Shoreham Road at 11am too.
There are memorials at both the south and north gates where wreaths will be laid.
The main parade and service in Hove is held in the afternoon.
The parade sets off from Hove Town Hall at 2.10 pm for the War Memorial in Grand Avenue, Hove, for a wreath-laying ceremony at 2.30pm.
It then heads to All Saints Church, in The Drive, Hove, for a full Service of Remembrance starting at 3pm.
And at 4.25pm the Brighton and Hove Branch of the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women’s Service hold a service at the Brighton and Hove Progressive Synagogue in the Ralli Hall Jewish Community Centre in Denmark Villas, Hove.
On Monday (11 November), Armistice Day, the Mayor Denise Cobb is due back at the Old Steine War Memorial to observe the two minutes’ silence at 11am.
At the same time the Deputy Mayor Bill Randall is due to observe the two minutes’ silence at the War Memorial in Grand Avenue, Hove.
Brighton and Hove Buses advised passengers to expect delays to their journeys tomorrow during the parades and services.
