A mugger hit a woman in Brighton before running off with her mobile phone.
He was with another man when he attacked the 23-year-old woman in the early hours of Sunday morning (5 May) in Prince’s Street, Brighton.
Sussex Police said: “She was speaking on her phone when a man struck her on the side of the head.
“She dropped the phone which he picked up before running off with another man.”
The attack happened at about 1am and Detective Constable Leon Ryan said: “The woman was distressed by the ordeal.
“I am keen to trace these two robbers and speak to a passer by who handed to police a harmonica that they had apparently dropped during the robbery.”
One of the suspects was described as missing several teeth. He was white, 28 to 30 years old, about 5ft 7in tall, slim and dressed all in black with messy black shoulder-length hair.
The second man was white, about 18 years old, wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up and a beanie hat.
Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Sussex Police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
