Bristol City 0 Brighton & Hove Albion 0
The Seagulls failed to capitalise on the teams around them tripping up as they were held to a goalless draw away at lowly Bristol City.
Dean Hammond’s half chance in the second half was the only real bright point. Albion were otherwise goal shy.
Craig Mackail-Smith suffered what looked like a serious injury to his achilles tendon. Albion will further assess the striker later this week.
Leonardo Ulloa came off the bench to replace Mackail-Smith but was unable to repeat his hat-trick heroics from the 4-1 win over Huddersfield on Saturday (2 March).
Since Sean O’Driscoll took over as Bristol City manager in January, his side have won four out of five at Ashton Gate, only dropping points to Albion.
Brighton remain in sixth place – the final play-off place in the Championship. And for their next game they travel to Bolton on Saturday (9 March).
