The lifeboat, coastguard helicopter and police are searching for a missing person on Brighton beach this morning.
The search and rescue helicopter has been patrolling the sea between Palace Pier and Brighton Marina.
A spokeswoman for the RNLI said: “We are out at the moment searching for a missing person.”
