The Brighton and Hove fundraising committee for Macmillan Cancer Support is holding a fashion show and afternoon tea at the Holiday Inn next month.
The cancer charity said that autumn and winter fashions and accessories would be showcased, with all guests receiving a goodie bag.
The show takes place at the Holiday Inn – the former Bedford Hotel – in King’s Road, Brighton, at 2pm on Friday 14 September.
Among the activities will be a chance to receive beauty tips during demonstrations at the seafront hotel.
Tickets cost £12 and are available from Audrey Ebison on 01273 773909.
A fortnight later – on Friday 28 September – thousands of people locally are expected to take part in the world’s greatest coffee morning on behalf of Macmillan.
One of the events will be at All Saints Church Hall in Hove.
Macmillan said that there are currently nearly 7,500 people living with cancer in Brighton and Hove.
More than a thousand new cases are diagnosed each year, with 600 sufferers dying each year.
The cancer charity has 60 health and social care professionals working in the area.
