A woman from Hove who went missing at the weekend has been found in Hangleton.
Sheila Major, 68, who suffers from dementia, was seen walking along Holmes Avenue in a confused state late last night (Monday 2 July) by a concerned member of the public.
Sussex Police said: “Officers picked her up at 11.40pm and she will be returned to her carer later today (Tuesday 3 July).”
She was reported missing on Sunday (1 July) having last been seen by her carer on Saturday (30 June) at about 10pm.
The force said in a statement: “Sussex Police would like to thank the media and public for their help in finding missing 68-year-old Hove woman Sheila Major.”
