The Albion have signed Polish international goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak on a free transfer from Manchester United.
Kuszczak, who started his English career at West Brom, spent a season on loan at Old Trafford before signing permanently for the Red Devils at the start of the 2007-08 season.
The move will be seen as a major coup for the Albion. A host of Championship clubs, including Ipswich Town, have been rumoured to be clamouring for the Pole’s signature.
Kuszczak played at the Amex last April for Watford in a 2-2 draw with Albion while he was on loan at the Hertfordshire club.
