A man suffered a fractured cheek bone and an eye injury after attacked in a Brighton night club, Sussex Police said today (Friday 8 June).
The attack happened on the dance floor at Revolution in West Street, Brighton, where the 28-year-old victim was dancing with friends.
Another man punched him in the face, leaving him with a broken cheek bone, a large cut across the top of his nose and an eye injury.
The victim was taken to the Royal County Sussex Hospital where he received several stitches.
The attacker was described as a slim built white man with a skinhead haircut, 5ft 10in tall and aged in his twenties.
He was wearing a long-sleeved blue top and blue trousers.
The attack took place at about 11.40pm last Saturday (2 June).
Sussex Police urged anyone who was in Revolution night club and saw the assault to call 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
