The family of a man who was stabbed to death in Brighton on Saturday (5 May) have paid tribute to a “loving father”.
Graham Pethard, 37, a father of four, died at a flat in Taunton Road, Bevendean, early on Saturday.
His family, speaking from their home in Liverpool, said: “Graham was a loving father who idolised his children.
“He was also a father figure to his friends and all who ever knew him.
“He was the sort of man who would be there before anyone and for anyone.
“He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, especially his four lovely daughters.”
Carlo Dawes, 34, was due to appear before Brighton magistrates this morning charged with murdering Mr Pethard.
