The Albion put their Sunday blues behind them, as they came away with a creditable goalless draw at Hull.
Abdul Razak made his debut for Albion as did fellow Manchester City loanee Gai Assulin.
Peter Brezovan was the main man for the Albion making some crucial saves to keep the Seagulls in it.
Fryatt was Hull’s most dangerous player and caused the Albion defence a few problems.
Mackail- Smith and Lua Lua combined well for the Albion with the latter flashing a free kick just wide.
Stewart rattled the bar for Hull just before half-time as the home team looked to capitalise on Albion’s possible fatigue.
Razak forced a good save from Hull’s on-loan keeper Mannone as did Bridcutt.
Assulin came on for his Albion debut late on and showed some nice touches winning a free kick in a dangerous position almost as soon as he took the field.
Mackail- Smith for Albion and Maclean for Hull had good chances to win it for their respective teams late on.
But the contest finished in a stalemate with both clubs still involved in the Play-off scene.
