A man walking along Ditchling Road was threatened with a broken bottle and robbed of his ipod in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The victim, in his early 20s, was heading home when he was grabbed by one of three men who he had seen around half a minute earlier in Springfield Road.
The man threatened him with the broken bottle and forced him to hand over a white 80Gb Ipod. The offender then walked back in the direction that he had come from.
He is described as white, about 20, 6ft and of medium build. He was wearing a black jacket and a black lumberjack style hat with flaps.
