Four days after the first of a series of wide-ranging measures to combat the spread of coronavirus was announced, life in Brighton and Hove continues to radically change.
Most if not all major events in the coming months have been cancelled, schools have been shut, and supermarkets continue to be under pressure from panic buying.
The city’s schools will close to all but the children of key workers from the end of today, and buses and trains will be running on reduced timetables from Monday.
