A man has been charged with having a knife in a public place after an incident in Brighton last week.
Sussex Police said today (Monday 16 December): “A man has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place in Gloucester Road, Brighton.
“Stefan Osborn, 35, of Grand Parade, Brighton, was arrested on suspicion of affray by response officers who were called to reports of a man waving a knife around, making threats and shouting in the street on Thursday night (12 December).
“No one was harmed.
“Osborn has been released on bail and is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on (Thursday) 2 January.”
