Fiddle player Ben Paley returns to the Brighton Acoustic Club this evening (Monday 4 November).
Paley is just back from America and earlier this year released his first solo album Homunculus Mellitus.
The Brighton Acoustic Club said: “We are delighted to welcome Ben Paley as our guest.
“Ben has played at the club many times since its inception, with his band the Long Hill Ramblers and in various duo combinations.
“However, direct from his solo tour of the USA, Ben brings his brand new solo album home to Brighton.
“Expect songs and fiddle tunes from the American, British and Swedish traditions, not to mention the fine beer for which the pub is renowned, and the club’s customary cheery musical fellowship.
“As always, floor singers are welcome. We hope to see you there.”
The Brighton Acoustic Club holds its monthly sessions at the the Lord Nelson pub, in Trafalgar Street, Brighton, from 8pm.
Admission is free although a collection is held. The sessions are sponsored by Harvey’s Brewery and Hobgoblin Music.
