A teenager faces court charged with dangerous cycling after a gang of youths went on the rampage through the Asda superstore at Brighton Marina.
Keith Mujuru was arrested in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 9 October) over the offences which he was alleged to have committed on Sunday 23 June.
The London youngster has been banned from coming to Brighton and Hove as a condition of his police bail.
Sussex Police said: “A man will appear in court later this month charged with offences relating to an incident in Asda at Brighton Marina in June.
“Keith Mujuru, 19, unemployed, of Law Street, Southwark, London, was arrested in Whyteleafe, Surrey, in the early hours of Wednesday (9 October).
“He has been charged with dangerous cycling (and) using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
“He has been bailed with conditions not to enter Brighton and Hove and will appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on (Wednesday) 23 October.
“A 13-year-old boy, who was arrested in connection with the same incident, is currently released under investigation pending further inquiries.
“In the meantime, he has been referred to the Youth Offender Services.”
