A man was stabbed and run over in a Brighton street yesterday (Saturday 21 September).
Detectives are investigating the attack which happened at 3.30am in Norwich Drive, Bevendean.
The 31-year-old victim was stabbed several times and run over by a car which was then driven off.
The man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Brighton, for treatment.
He was discharged later yesterday, Sussex Police said.
Detective Sergeant Sebastian Day said: “The victim is very fortunate that his injuries were not more serious.
“We are keen to speak to anybody who witnessed or heard the incident or who has any information relating to it.
