A missing girl from Hove has returned home, Sussex Police said this morning (Wednesday 21 August).
The force said: “Missing teenager Leah Shawyer was found safe and well by officers in Hove on Monday evening (19 August).”
The force had issued a public appeal for help finding the 14-year-old earlier the same day.
The appeal was made after she had been missing for five days – since midday last Wednesday (14 August).
Her disappearance was reported to police the next day.
