A pensioner suffered serious head injuries in an accident with a bus, Sussex Police said this afternoon (Monday 19 August).
He was on foot at the corner of Edward Street and Upper Rock Gardens when the accident happened.
The force said: “Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision.
“A bus collided with a pedestrian at the junction of Upper Rock Gardens and Edward Street, Brighton, at 11.05pm on Friday (16 August).
“The pedestrian, a man in his seventies, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Brighton.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to report online or call 101 quoting Operation Northbrook.”
