An 18-year-old unemployed teenager from Portslade has been charged after two other people were stabbed in Bevendean.
Finley Apps, of St Peter’s Road, Portslade, has been charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Sussex Police said this afternoon (Monday 29 July): “A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Brighton.
“Police are investigating a stabbing in Bevendean Crescent on Friday evening (26 July).
“Emergency services were called at 10pm to a fight at a property and two men had been stabbed.
“An 18-year-old man was treated for four serious stabs wounds and another, an 18-year-old man, had minor injuries.
“Two men were arrested.
“Finley Apps, 18, unemployed, from St Peter’s Road, Portslade, has been charged with GBH with intent. He has been remanded until (Tuesday) 27 August.
“Another man, a 28-year-old from Hove, was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and has been released under investigation.
