Two people have been injured after a police car rolled down a hill and into another car.
The police car was being recovered after breaking down on Kingswood Street, Brighton, at about 8.30am this morning.
It somehow managed to roll down the hill and into a Skoda.
A police spokesman said: “A road traffic collision occurred in Kingswood Street, Brighton, about 8.40am on Monday 15 July.
“While the exact circumstances are unclear at this stage, it appears a police vehicle – in the process of being recovered by a recovery operator – has rolled down the hill and collided with a silver Skoda.
“One occupant of the Skoda and the recovery operator were treated by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries.
“The matter has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive.”
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “One ambulance crew attended and checked people at the scene for what are believed to be minor injuries. No one required transporting to hospital.”
