Friday 26th July is going to be a raucous night at The Prince Albert at the top of Trafalgar Street in Brighton as Hastings finest sisters of punk rock Maid Of Ace have announced an 11-date UK summer tour that takes in the venue.

Maid Of Ace have been purveyors of adrenaline fuelled punk since 2005 and are comprised of Alison Cara Elliott (lead vocals/guitar), Anna Coral Elliott (lead guitar/vocals), Amy Catherine Elliott (bass/vocals) and Abby Charlotte Elliott (drums).

The siblings are best known for their live energy performances, filled with raw sound and Straight-to-the-point Punk Rock and so the many punk rock fans in around Brighton would be recommended to make the trip to the Prince Albert located virtually below Brighton’s Main Railway Station for an evening of speed music and serious pogoing.

And as if that wasn’t enough to entice you, they have only managed to get Brighton’s terrific Rotten Foxes on board too as they will be supporting the girls on the 26th July gig. Rotten Foxes are Rusty Nails (vocals), MacDaddy (guitar), Jimi Dymond (bass), Danny Camelot (drums).

I witnessed their explosive live set earlier this month (June 2019) and was honestly blown away by their energy and demeanour. They look like Aussie surf mullet boys akin to Amyl & The Sniffers meets IDLES – what more can I say other than – see them – see them – see them!

Purchase your tickets for the gig HERE.
