Brighton’s psych punks Dog of Man recently returned from a DIY tour of Europe where they played shows in a Berlin squat and an abandoned steel factory in Luxembourg. Now they’re putting on an art exhibition in an optometrist’s eyewear boutique in Brighton.
Ollie Quinn on Bond Street has started hosting local art events and their next show is ‘The Art of Dog of Man’. Opening for a private view on Sat 11th May during The Great Escape, the exhibition runs until 8th June with a gig in the gallery on Fri 24th May.
The art on display is created by members of the band and features weird collages, paintings and line drawings (some of which may have been made on Microsoft Paint).
The exhibition also includes live gig photography and screens showing the band’s peculiar videos. Watch them HERE and HERE.
