A man has admitted throwing a corrosive substance into the face of a teenager and robbing him in Brighton.
Jordan Kelly, 28, of St George’s Road, Kemp Town, pleaded guilty to a charge of robbery.
Kelly also pleaded guilty to throwing a corrosive substance with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) into the face of Joshua Prout, in Whitehawk Way, Brighton, on Sunday 10 March.
Brooke Brennan, 21, of Plaistow Close, Whitehawk, also admitted a charge of robbing the same victim when the pair appeared at crown court on Thursday 11 April.
They have both been remanded in custody and are due to be sentenced at the crown court on Thursday 9 May.
Kelly is also charged with committing a robbery at Hartley’s off-licence, in St George’s Road, on Sunday 24 March when cash and cigarettes were stolen.
And he is charged with burgling Mulberrys, in Sutherland Road, Brighton, and stealing cash on Tuesday 26 March.
He is expected to plead to both offences when he appears in court on Thursday 9 May.
