Two men have appeared in court accused of dealing hard drugs after police found crack, heroin and a knife in a car they stopped in Cheapside.
Lloyd Earle, 24, a painter of Steele Road, Tottenham, London and Tavari Cabey, 19, unemployed of Cromwell Street, Birmingham, have both been charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drug – crack cocaine, conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drug – heroin, and possession of a knife blade or pointed article in a public place.
They appeared before Brighton magistrates on Wednesday and were both remanded in custody to await a further hearing at Lewes Crown Court on 24 April.
Both men were in a car that was stopped by police in Cheapside, Brighton, shortly before 11am on Tuesday (March 26).
