A man suspected of dealing drugs in Brighton has been charged and ordered to appear before magistrates.
Three others were arrested at the same time for having cannabis and MDMA, also known as ecstasy.
Sussex Police said today (Thursday 7 March): “Four people were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences when a car was stopped by police in Brighton on Saturday evening (2 March).
“The white Kia was stopped in Montpelier Road at around 9pm.
“Javel Rodney, 24, unemployed, of Collingwood Close, Peacehaven, was charged with possession with intent to supply a drug of class B, cannabis.
“He was bailed to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on (Thursday) 21 March.
“A 24-year-old man from Telscombe Cliffs received a penalty notice for possession with intent to supply a drug of class B, cannabis.
“A 19-year-old man from Portslade was cautioned for possession with intent to supply a drug of class A, MDMA.
“And a 19-year-old woman from Brighton, who was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a drug of class B, cannabis, was released without charge.”
