Leicester City 2 Brighton & Hove Albion 1
Albion’s losing streak continued at the King Power Stadium. The Seagulls now haven’t won in the Premier League since December 2018.
Goals from Demarai Gray in the first half and another just after the hour from Jamie Vardy put Leicester in charge in front of newly announced manager Brendan Rodgers.
Davy Propper then scored his first goal for the Seagulls since his transfer in August 2017.
Glenn Murray had a couple of chances to pull Albion level late on.
The Seagulls stay 16th in the Premier League.
However, next Saturday’s Amex opponents Huddersfield Town picked up a rare win as they beat Wolves 1-0 at the John Smiths Stadium.
Albion desperately need a win and surely now a victory against Huddersfield is essential.
