A date has been set for the trial of a man accused of murdering 22-year-old Abdul Deghayes in Brighton.
Daniel Macleod, 36, appeared at Hove Crown Court by video link this morning (Monday 25 February).
He will face a two to three-week trial by jury in the crown court starting on Monday 24 June.
A plea and trial preparation hearing has been scheduled for Friday 17 May.
Macleod, of Gipsy Road, south London, appeared before Judge Jeremy Gold by video link from Lewes Prison.
He faces charges of murder and having cocaine with intent to supply.
He was remanded in custody.
Mr Deghayes was found with stab wounds on Saturday (16 February) near the bottom of Elm Hrove, Brighton.
He died early on Sunday (17 February).
