Global superstar Lauren Hill has just been announced as headliner for this year’s Love Supreme Jazz Festival. She tops a stellar bill including Jamie Cullum, Gladys Knight, Chick Corea, Snarky Puppy and Kamaal Williams on the line up for the even, which is the world’s biggest greenfield jazz festival, taking place July 5-7 at the beautiful Glynde Place, near Lewes.
Lauren Hill rose to fame as lead singer of 90’s reggae hip-hop band The Fugees. Her performance tops off a tour celebrating twenty years since the release of her seminal, multi-grammy award winning album The Miseducation of Lauren Hill, notable for hits such as Doo-Wop (That Thing).
Love Supreme Director, Ciro Romano said,
“Lauryn Hill is someone who’s always featured at the top of our wish list – she’s an uncompromising innovator who has had such an enormous impact on the development of contemporary music. The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill has truly stood the test of time and we’re all very excited to be hosting her at this year’s festival.”
