West Ham United 2 Brighton & Hove Albion 2
Albion gained their fifth point of the Christmas period in a game that sprang to life in 12 second-half minutes.
After a fairly mundane first half it was Dale Stephens with his first ever Premier League goal who put the Seagulls in front from a Pascal Gross corner.
Then two minutes later it was almost the same scenario as Gross fired in the corner and Shane Duffy doubled Albion’s lead with a header from a tight angle.
But on 67 minutes Hammers substitute Mark Nobel found Marko Arnautovic, who halved the arrears as he fired past David Button.
Then just two minutes later, this time fed by substitute Antonio, Arnautovic pulled West Ham level.
Albion visit Bournemouth in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday (5 January) and their next Premier League fixture is against current leaders Liverpool at the Amex on Saturday 12 January.
