A man is still in hospital with head and facial injuries after being attacked at The Level skate park last night.
The skate park is cordoned off while forensic investigations take place. Police are now asking for witnesses to come forward.
A police spokesman said: “About 10.20pm on Thursday (27 September), police were contacted by the ambulance service following a report a man had been assaulted at The Level skate park in Brighton.
“Officers attended and the victim, a local man in his 30s, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with head and facial injuries, where he remains at this stage.
“The scene has been cordoned off for forensics investigations.
“There were a number of witnesses in the area and police are keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened.
