An Italian restaurant in Brighton has been included in a prestigious food guide for the first time.
Cin Cin, in Vine Street, Brighton, is a new entry in the Bib Gourmand, published by Michelin.
There is also now a Cin Cin in Western Road, Hove.
The guide lists the good value restaurants and pubs that have been awarded Bib Gourmands.
The announcement of the awards comes days before the announcement of the full Michelin star awards on Monday (1 October).
The Bib Gourmand list includes 27 new entries while 28 restaurants have been removed, making a total of 143.
Restaurants and pubs that receive a Bib Gourmand are defined as offering “simple yet skilful cooking and great prices”.
Rebecca Burr, Michelin’s Great Britain and Ireland director, said: “Prices and value for money are important but the Bib Gourmand is about much more – it’s about the ethos and philosophy of a restaurant.”
