Staff at a Brighton chippy have told of their shock at learning the Westminster Bridge attacker bought his last supper from them the night before he ploughed into pedestrians and stabbed a police officer.

Footage of Khalid Masoud entering the Preston Fish Bar in Beaconsfield Road on March 21 last year, while images of Westminster were shown on a TV screen in the corner.
One staff member at the Preston Fish Bar, Ramez Khalil, said he and his colleagues were shocked to learn he had been in their takeaway.
He said: “We are shocked. The following week when we heard he had been in the area just one night before, so close to us.
“The police came in, and we discussed it and thought we had never seen him and nobody remembers him.”
The images were part of a compilation of video showing Masood’s preparations shown to an inquest for the victims of the attack, which also included visiting a Sainsbury’s in Brighton. He stayed the night at the Preston Park Hotel.
The following morning, the inquest heard Masood, 52, searched the internet for Prime Minister’s Questions before carrying out a second recce in Westminster.
The terrorist, born Adrian Elms, was eventually shot dead by police after ploughing into Kurt Cochran, 54, Leslie Rhodes, 75, Aysha Frade, 44, and Andreea Cristea, 31, on Westminster Bridge in a rented 4×4, the stabbing PC Keith Palmer, 48.
