A man has been stabbed in Brighton this afternoon (Friday 25 May) and the attacker is still at large.

The victim suffered injuries that Sussex Police said were not life-threatening.
The stabbing happened at about 5pm at the bottom of Islingword Road near the corner of Elm Grove.
Officers were at the scene at Yummie Pizza where one told a neighbour that a group of four or five lads ran off down Hanover Street towards Southover Street.
Sussex Police said: “We have responded to a report of a stabbing.
“A male has been stabbed in Brighton at approximately 5pm and is not believed to be suffering from life-threatening injuries.
“There’s a scene which is being secured for forensics and inquiries are ongoing in respect of the identity of the person responsible.
“They are not believed still to be in the local vicinity.”
