We’re so ‘Eggs-static’ that The Lovely Eggs have announced that they will be returning to Sussex this week. Virtually a year on from their terrific Brighton concert last year, the husband and wife duo will again be bringing their own inimitable style of indie-pop-punk to Sussex.
The Brighton & Hove News music team are hoping for an ‘eggs-quisite’ evening out as we shall be witnessing an intimate concert full of ‘eggs-cessive’ and ‘eggs-ceptional’ music.
We reported on their Haunt concert in Brighton last November which was full of their Northern charm, which you can read HERE.
To my knowledge, there’s no-one out there really that mirror the psychedelic punk style of the Lovely Eggs, who are wife Holly Ross on guitar/vocals and husband David Blackwell on drums. They unleashed there terrific ‘This Is Eggland’ album on 23rd February this year, and I simply couldn’t stop playing it for weeks on end. Any other albums hardly got a look in. Have a listen to this ‘eggs-emplary’ ‘eggs-quisite’ track ‘Big Sea‘ so that you can see what I mean and find out more here: http://www.thelovelyeggs.co.uk/
