Burnley 0 Brighton & Hove Albion 0
The Seagulls and the Clarets played out a cagey goalless draw.
The result was the same as when the two sides met before Christmas, with Brighton among only five clubs to have netted fewer times than Burnley in the Premier League this season.
A first-half scramble which saw the Albion goal somehow survive a frenetic flurry was about as exciting as it got.
Former Seagull Ashley Barnes, England defender James Tarkowski and Jack Cork all failed to find the net within a frantic few seconds.
The only change in Albion’s starting line up was Leo Ulloa up front in place of Glenn Murray.
Albion had a number of half chances but they were unable to convert them.
The side deserve to be delighted with a hard-fought point against a Europe-bound club before the big one – the home finale against Manchester United this coming Friday at the Amex.
May the fourth be with you.
