Founded in 2016, Hot Wax Promotions state that “we put on bands we love in the places we love” and that’s exactly what they have been doing in Brighton of late, with the assistance of Tigmus in Brighton.
The two companies are proud to be working together on our their night at The Prince Albert located at the top of Trafalgar Street, below Brighton Station. Their joint statement simplifies things in saying that “We’ll be aiming on putting on the newest bands, exposing their talent to new faces.”
Their forthcoming event Locals #5 will be held on Monday 12th February and ticket prices are kept to a minimum, so you get four acts for just £4. Get your tickets here: https://www.facebook.com/events/125550628153849/

Circe (pronounced sir-sea) hail from Brighton and are essentially singer Alexa and her band, Mark, Brad and Tom. Alexa’s icy ethereal erotic vocal style can be likened to Karin Dreijer, the Swedish singer from The Knife/Fever Ray. Their otherworldly dark synth laden tunes are in the mould of Tubeway Army’s ‘Down In The Park’. They have just released songs called ‘Under My Skin’ and ‘Blood And Wine’.
