One person was taken to hospital after a motorbike crash closed a stretch of the A27 Brighton bypass this morning (Monday 22 January).
Three vehicles were involved in the crash and initial reports suggested that the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.
The accident, just after 8am, happened on the westbound side of the road near the Stanmer turn-off.
Traffic was diverted down the Lewes Road and up Coldean Lane to the Hollingbury junction as all three emergency services turned out and the road was closed.
It reopened a few minutes before 11am.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that first aid was given before one casualty was taken to hospital.
