UPDATE: Senay was found safe and well in Brighton within hours of the public appeal for help to locate her.
A missing 14-year-old girl is believed to be in Brighton, Sussex Police said this morning (Sunday 31 December).
The force issued a public appeal for help tracing the girl, Senay Spain-Yusuf, from Shoreham, who went missing previously just under three weeks ago.
Today, Sussex Police said: “Police are searching for Senay Spain-Yusuf, who is missing from Shoreham.
“The 14-year-old was last seen at her home on Wednesday (27 December) and it is believed she may be in the Brighton area.
“Senay is described as 5ft 7in, thin, with long brown hair and hazel eyes.
“She was last seen wearing black ripped jeans and a cream leather jacket.
“Anyone who knows where she may be is asked to report it online or call 101 quoting serial 1116 of 27/12.”
