A missing teenage girl from Hove has returned home safe and well, Sussex Police said today (Friday 29 December).
The force said: “We are pleased to say that Mia Epps, 16, reported missing from Hove, has been found safe and well after returning to her mother’s address in the city of her own accord on Thursday evening (28 December).
“Thanks to all who shared concerns for her wellbeing.”
Yesterday Sussex Police issued a public appeal for help tracing Mia.
The force said: “Police are concerned for the welfare of Mia Epps after she was reported missing from an address in Hove on Wednesday (27 December).
“Mia, 16, had travelled to the city from Spalding in Lincolnshire to visit family.
“She was last seen at 1.45pm and it is believed she may have gone to London.
