A guesthouse close to Brighton seafront has been sold for £1.25 million.
Kempfield House, in Maderia Place, Brighton, was sold by Chris Meyler to Zak Abedi through the leisure property specialist Fleurets.
The property is a five-storey, grade II listed Georgian townhouse with 13 en suite bedrooms for guests.
It is Mr Abedi’s first hotel acquisition and he said that he intends to continue to keep the property operating as a guesthouse.
He hopes to carry out a refurbishment of the Kemp Town property at some point in the future.
