Police are investigating after a moped and a car were torched in a quiet Portslade road last night.

Firefighters were called to the blaze at 7.48pm and a crew from Hove used a hose reel jet to quench the flames.
A police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for witnesses in their investigation into the suspected arson of a car and moped in Portslade on Tuesday evening (November 21).
“Firefighters extinguished the blaze in a Mercedes car and a moped that was standing next to it in Stonery Road around 7.48pm.
“Any witnesses are asked to report online at https://sussex.police.uk/appealresponse or call 101 quoting serial 1321 of 21/11.
