This burglar got more than he bargained for when he spotted this security camera – shortly before being caught when the residents of the house he and two others were raiding returned home.
The trio broke into the house in Heath Hill Avenue at around 3pm on Friday (6 October) by smashing a window.
These images, of the same man, were caught on CCTV. He and his accomplices ran off through the back garden to a waiting vehicle, containing two more men, which then drove off. Nothing was stolen.
The car was described as a black Seat, with an index starting with NV10 or VX10, or similar. The suspects were all white men, in their 20s to 30s, and all were wearing dark clothing.
