Police are trying to trace a Brighton man who is alleged to have stalked a woman and punched her in Patcham.
Sussex Police said that officers wanted to speak to Mariwan Hosseni, 33, and urging him to come forward or others to let them know where he is.
The force said: “Police in Brighton are seeking 33-year-old Mariwan Hosseni, who they want to interview over alleged stalking and an attack on a 31-year old-woman known to him.
“The woman was punched during an incident outside an address in Sunnydale Avenue, Brighton, just before midnight on Saturday 12 August.
“Hosseni is described as of Middle Eastern appearance, 5ft 8in, of medium build, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.”
Sergeant Rich Penrose said: “If you see Hosseni call us on 999 or if you have any information on his whereabouts contact us online or via 101, quoting serial 1530 of 12/08.
