Watford 0 Brighton & Hove Albion 0
The Seagulls were unlucky not to secure all three points as they hit the woodwork twice and were denied a clear cut penalty in this Premier League encounter.
The perspective of the match changed on 24 minutes as Miguel Britos made an X-rated challenge on Anthony Knockaert.
Referee Graham Scott had no hesitation in sending Britos off.
Albion took the match by the scruff of the neck but could not find that elusive goal.
Both Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy were narrowly wide from Christian Gross corners.
Solly March was giving former Manchester United full back Tom Cleverley a torrid time. But time and again either a March or Knockaert cross eluded the Albion front players.
Knockaert was denied a penalty when he was kicked in the head by Kiki.
Former Spurs keeper Heurelho Gomes was also punching many crosses clear and getting a good distance.
Troy Deeney came on late on for Watford as did record signing Jose Izquierdo for Albion.
But neither side could find that killer instinct.
However, Albion move up to 17th, one place outside the relegation zone. They will stay there until at least match day 4 on Saturday 9 September when they are at home to West Bromwich Albion.
i’ve put a bet on with Paddy Power, that they wont win a single game this season.
