Brighton and Hove Albion under-23 midfielder Archie Davies has signed a loan deal with Whitehawk until January.
Albion said: “Davies, who has stepped into the under-23s after being a mainstay in Ian Buckman’s under-18 side last season, will join up with the National League South side and be available for their game against Bognor Regis Town tonight.”
Under-23 coach Simon Rusk said: “This loan move is a great opportunity for Archie to gain valuable experience playing football in a first-team environment.
“He worked very hard in the under-18s last season, also featuring for the under-23s, and we’ll keep track of Archie’s progress during his time at Whitehawk.”
Albion added: “The midfielder helped the under-18s reach the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup last season, and also made one appearance for Simon Rusk’s under-23 side in the Premier League 2 Division 2.”
