Brighton and Hove Albion winger Kazenga LuaLua has joined Queen’s Park Rangers on loan until January, the club said today (Friday 11 August).
Albion said: “The 26-year-old will be available for Saturday’s fixture against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough as he returns to the Hoops after spending time on loan at Loftus Road last season.
“LuaLua made 11 appearances for the West London club and scored his first goal in a 2-1 defeat against Preston North End at Deepdale.”
Albion boss Chris Hughton said: “This loan move represents a great opportunity for Kazenga to go and play regular first-team football.
“He knows the club well from spending time there last season, as well as the division, and it is a loan which benefits all three parties.”
LuaLua is one of the longest-serving players in Albion’s current squad and has scored 22 goals in 183 appearances for the Seagulls.
LuaLua initially joined Albion on loan from Newcastle in February 2010. He signed permenantly in November 2011.
