Albion were held to a goalless draw in Spain against La Liga new boys Girona.
Both Jamie Murphy and Tomer Hemed managed to get the ball in the back of the hosts’ net but each effort was adjudged offside.
Lewis Dunk captained the Seagulls, as regular skipper Bruno was named among the substitutes.
One of the main talking points was the sending off of Glenn Murray.
Murray reacted to a heavy challenge and was booked. Minutes later the veteran striker appeared to leave his foot in after a challenge and was shown a second yellow card.
Albion next take on Spanish giants Atletico Madrid at the Amex this Sunday (6 August) at 4pm.
