A missing woman from Hove has been found safe and well, Sussex Police said this morning (Thursday 6 July).
The force, which issued a public appeal for help finding 65-year-old Kathleen Phelps on Monday (3 July), said that she had gone to Kent.
Sussex Police said: “Kathleen Phelps was reported missing last Friday (June 30) from her home in Hove. She was found safe and well in Kent on Wednesday (July 5).”
Concern was sparked after she called in sick to work on Thursday (29 June).
The force said at the time: “Kathleen Phelps was reported missing on Friday (30 June) at 8.30pm after her son went to visit her at her York Road flat.”
